PL-Grid

STATUS: COMPLETED

PL-Grid project (Polish Infrastructure for Supporting Computational Science in the European Research Space – PL-Grid) aim was to create an open, nationwide grid infrastructure that would support the research carried out by various geographically dispersed teams.
As a result of the work carried out in the project PL-Grid infrastructure was created which is free of charge for Polish scientists. WCSS managed the realisation of task Z6 „Security of infrastructure” and participated in the works on the construction of the hardware infrastructure, establishment of the Operations Centre and provided training and support for users.
